Real-time tracking and read confirmation
MailProof tracks each message in real time through every stage of its journey:
- Submitted — the message has entered the certified relay
- Dispatched — it has been sent on to the recipient's mail server
- Delivered — the recipient's server has accepted it
- Confirmed — delivery is confirmed and the certificate is generated
- Opened — the recipient has opened the message
Read confirmation tells you when your recipient opens the message. One important note: some email clients block tracking pixels, so the absence of an opened event does not necessarily mean the email was not read. Delivery to the recipient's server is what the certificate proves; the read event is an added signal on top of that.
