What a MailProof certificate proves
Every confirmed MailProof email produces a formal PDF delivery certificate. Each certificate carries:
- A unique certificate ID and tracking code
- The sender and recipient details
- The subject line
- Any attachment file names
- The complete timestamped delivery timeline
Together these form independent evidence that stands up when a dispute, deadline or regulator asks for it. Because the certificate is built from the recorded SMTP handshake with the recipient's mail server, it documents that their server accepted the message and exactly when.
Each certificate also comes with a public verification link, so recipients — or anyone you share it with — can confirm the delivery online with no MailProof account required.
