What Deep Packet Filter blocks
DPF filters six distinct categories of unwanted traffic across every website and app:
- All adverts — banner ads, video pre-rolls, pop-ups and in-page advertising.
- Malware — known malware distribution domains, ransomware callbacks and drive-by download sites, blocked before they reach any device.
- Tracking — invisible trackers, pixel beacons, cross-site analytics and fingerprinting scripts that follow you across the web.
- Telemetry — background telemetry, OS analytics and silent auto-reporting that consumes bandwidth and erodes privacy.
- Phishing — phishing sites, fraud domains and scam infrastructure, updated continuously from multiple threat feeds.
- In-app adverts — ads inside mobile apps, games and smart-TV applications, across every device on your network at once.
Because the filtering happens at the DNS layer, it applies to apps and connected devices too — not just web browsers.
