Engine misses second-precision drops after PHP-FPM recycle

If php-fpm recycles the worker pool within ~2 min of a release the first batch of EPP writes is delayed while sockets warm up. Missed two three-char names last week that I had queued for days. Can the pool be pinned warm ahead of a scheduled drop?
