Acting on the technical report and prioritising fixes
The second report is a detailed technical report listing the findings and how to resolve them. It is your work list for making the site secure.
A sensible way to work through it:
- Start with the most serious findings — anything that could expose data or let an attacker in should come before cosmetic issues.
- Follow the resolution guidance given for each finding.
- Tackle the quick, high-value fixes early — updating an outdated component with a known vulnerability is often fast and closes a real hole.
- Keep a record of what you have fixed so nothing slips through.
If a finding isn't clear, or you want the fixes handled for you rather than doing them in-house, get in touch — we can quote separately for the remediation work described in your report.
