Making sense of the two reports you receive

A Server Security Analysis delivers two reports by email covering the findings across every service audited. Between them they tell you three things:

1. Whether the server shows signs of unauthorised access — the compromise question, answered from the evidence we found.
2. What security issues exist — the misconfigurations, exposed services, weak permissions and outdated software across the stack.
3. What needs to be done — the actions required to address the problems identified.

Read them as a prioritised to-do list for your server. If anything is unclear, or you want the findings explained in plain terms before you act, get in touch. And if you would rather not carry out the remediation yourself, ask us about having the work done for you.
