Turning on 90-day retention and when it takes effect

The extended-retention add-on raises your quarantine and verdict-history window from 30 to 90 days across the whole account.

How to enable it. Add the extended-retention add-on (£9.99/month) to your account. It applies account-wide rather than per domain, so every domain on the account gets the longer window.

When the change lands. The retention window adjusts from the next billing cycle. Practically, once active, newly held messages and verdicts begin to be kept for 90 days rather than 30, and the searchable history builds out to the fuller window over time.

What you can then do. Search and recover legitimately quarantined messages up to 90 days old, and produce verdict history over that same period — useful for audits or infrequent quarantine reviews.

Turning it back down. If you later remove the add-on, retention returns to the 30-day default from the next cycle. Retention only governs how long items are kept; it never changes how mail is scored or delivered, so switching it on or off is safe.
