Setting up your white-label custom domain and SSL

amberN6 09 Sep 2025, 15:52

The white-label add-on lets customers reach MxGuard at your own address. Here's what's involved in standing that up.

Pick your dashboard hostname. Choose a subdomain of your own brand, for example mail.yourcompany.co.uk. This is the URL your customers will log into.

Point DNS at MxGuard. Create the DNS record for that hostname so it resolves to the MxGuard dashboard, as directed when you enable the add-on. The SSL certificate for the custom URL is included, so the branded portal is served over HTTPS without you sourcing a certificate separately.

Apply your branding. Upload your logo, set your colours and configure the sender name used on daily digests, so both the dashboard and the digest emails carry your identity. All MxGuard and Transcom branding is hidden.

Bring in your customers. Use the partner view to manage each customer's domains from one place. The single £29.99/month flat fee covers the whole account no matter how many customer domains sit under your brand.
